Pinnacle Caterers, MLSE and Scotiabank Arena have a longstanding partnership with Second Harvest who are the largest food recovery organization in Canada. We realize we have the potential to make a difference by not allowing perfectly good food to go to waste. We are proud to say that each year, we have collected over 50,000 meals for people in need across the city of Toronto, and our Suites contributions is an incredibly important part of that.
Blair has been involved in the Toronto catering industry for over 20 years. He has worked with numerous industry leaders, which have allowed him to form a deep and broad knowledge of event management and client relations. This knowledge proves invaluable as he personally oversees all special events, some in excess of 1,700 guests. In his eighth year with Pinnacle, Blair leads an experienced group of hospitality professionals with each event. They specialize in uncovering the goals and desires of their clients, matching those with the right menu, venue and intangibles – all culminating in a memorable, unique event.
Direct line: 416.815.5849John’s tenure with Pinnacle extends almost 3 decades. Initially hired by Pinnacle as assistant restaurant manager, John served in a similar capacity with Keg Restaurants in the early 1980’s. He was promoted to the position of General Manager in 1986 and soon thereafter became one of the key figures for us, being involved in all of Pinnacle’s business enterprises including the opening of any new foodservice operations. 2004 saw John’s portfolio expand once more as he was made GM of Pinnacle’s operations at the Air Canada Centre and this was expanded to include BMO Field in 2007. John forges deep and significant relationships with both clients and suppliers, which is instrumental for the effective managing of all our catering operations.
